The BMW B48B20 engine is one of two engines used in the BMW 5 Series model, the other being the B48B20C engine. The B48B20D engine is the high-powered version with a maximum power of 185kW and a peak torque of 350N·m, while the B48B20C engine is the low-powered version with a maximum power of 135kW and a peak torque of 290N·m12.
